Anna Nicole remains in seclusion, and just last Saturday her estranged mother, VIRGIE, and other family members — including Daniel’s father, BILLY SMITH — held a memorial service in Mexia, TX, for the late 20-year-old.Anna Nicole’s good friend, JACKIE HATTEN, was invited by Virgie to speak at the memorial service, and she tells ET’s KEVIN FRAZIER, “I’m so broken up about the situation — a mother, especially one that cares so much as Anna Nicole — to lose her best friend, it’s unfathomable.”Jackie reports that the ceremony was “amazing,” highlighted by a slide show retrospective of Daniel’s life.”Obviously Anna was not able to make it there, and I just felt at this time she needed a friend to be her mouth, her spokesperson,” says Jackie, adding that family members sent messages of love and support to the mourning model. “Everyone wishes you the utmost love, respect and peace. They want you to have inner peace from all of this, just one day at a time, just stronger and stronger and stronger ’til you can stay above all this madness and know that Daniel’s in heaven. He’s a guardian angel, and any time you want to speak with him, just say a prayer.”As for Daniel’s final resting place, Jackie believes Anna Nicole will bring the young man’s body to Los Angeles.”She’s always wanted to have a plot near [MARILYN MONROE's], and I believe one day that’s where they’ll probably both reside.”With reports saying that Anna Nicole remains secluded at her home in the Bahamas as she deals with her grief, while mothering newborn baby DANNIELYNN HOPE, Jackie reveals that she’s worried about her good friend of over 15 years. “I’m always worried when someone passed like that who’s so close,” she says, “and Anna held him with the highest esteem. That was her pride and joy, and it’s very hard when you lose somebody who is that close to you, that’s come out of your stomach — you bore this child.”Jackie says she’s “so excited” to meet Dannielynn, whom she’s only seen in pictures, and is “sure she’s going to be as beautiful as Daniel.” As for former Anna Nicole boyfriend LARRY BIRKHEAD’s claims of paternity of the child, Jackie offers, “I know that he was going with her at some time, so if he has concerns or questions that it’s his child, I think they should be warranted — and [HOWARD K. Let her grieve for a minute and then find out — first things first; give her her space and let her have her time, and when it’s time, the proper father will know.
